To our online questionnaire to find out if you’re eligible

Take part

Join 12, weekly group sessions, virtually, digitally or in-person

Stay on track

After the programme, get support for 12 months via the Amara Health™ app

You are eligible for the programme if you:

  • Live in the East Riding of Yorkshire
  • Are aged 18 years or over.
  • Have a BMI of 25+ if you are white heritage, or a BMI of 23+ if you of Black or Asian Heritage

What to expect

Here’s some more information on what happens during the programme, so you can decide if it’s right for you.

Group sessions

At each session, you’ll have the chance to share your experiences and ideas with people with similar weight-loss and healthy lifestyle goals.

Local venues or virtual  – your choice, your way.

You can choose to attend your sessions in person at a community venue close to you, or virtually, via Microsoft Teams.

Amara Health app

We’ll give you 24/7 access to the AmaraHealth™ app. You can use it to track your food intake, your weight, mood and more. You can even set goals too. 

After the programme

We’ll continue helping you with your weight-loss and healthy lifestyle goals with six month and 12-month reviews.
